Why am I seeing cached data?
Data is cached for 1 hour to reduce API load and improve speed. Use "Update Now" for the latest DNS changes.
Can I click the update button repeatedly?
No. To prevent excessive load on our servers and external APIs, there is a limit on the number of requests within a short period. Repeatedly updating may result in a temporary block.
How accurate is the location data?
It is an estimate at the city level based on the IP address. It does not pinpoint a specific address.
Where is history data stored?
History is saved only in your browser (LocalStorage). It is not sent to the server.
How is the Security Score calculated?
It is calculated on a 100-point scale based on the implementation of SSL, HSTS, CSP, SPF, and other key security headers.
Will my search query be made public?
No. Your queries and results are not listed publicly. History data is stored only within your own browser.
What should I do if the blacklist check shows a "Warning"?
A warning indicates the IP may have been flagged for spam or unauthorized activity in the past. If you are using a shared server or dynamic IP, this can happen without your direct involvement. If your normal browsing is unaffected, immediate action is usually not required.
What can be determined from an IP address?
From an IP address, you can identify the Internet service provider (ISP), approximate geographic location such as country or region, and the network organization (ASN). However, it cannot reveal a person’s exact address, name, or other personal information.
What is a DNS record?
DNS records are configuration entries that link a domain name to servers and services on the Internet. For example, an A record maps a domain to an IP address, while an MX record specifies the mail server responsible for receiving email for the domain.
What is an IP address lookup tool used for?
An IP address lookup tool is used for network investigation, DNS configuration checks, security analysis, and access log analysis. It is useful not only for server administrators and security professionals but also for website owners.
